Official Rules and Regulations
1. Giveaway Start and End Dates
Each promotional giveaway hosted by Prairie Pride Promotions will start at 8:00 AM (MST) and close at 8:00 PM (MST) on the specific date listed on that giveaway’s page. The timing of entries will be determined solely based on the Sponsor’s system clock.
2. Who Can Enter the Giveaway
To be eligible, individuals must currently reside in Canada (excluding Quebec), be physically present in the country, and have reached the age of majority where they live. Anyone working for Prairie Pride Promotions or who has an immediate family relationship with someone who does, will not be eligible to take part in the contest. Individuals must be a Prairie Pride Promotions yearly or life time Member. Prairie Pride Promotions reserves the right to request documentation to confirm eligibility. Any false or misleading information provided may lead to disqualification at the sole discretion of the Sponsor.
3. Entry Requirements and Restrictions
Entering the giveaway means you understand and agree to the following:
● You’ll follow all outlined rules and acknowledge the Prairie Pride Promotions Privacy Policy.
● You accept that any decisions made by Prairie Pride Promotions regarding the contest are final.
● You recognize that any entry not meeting the stated criteria may be disqualified.
4. How to Enter the Giveaway
You do not need to make a purchase to participate. Mail-In Entry: To enter by mail, write a letter by hand and send it to: Prairie Pride Promotions, PO Box [Your PO Box], Saskatchewan, Canada Your submission must include:
● Your full name and a working email address
● A written request for one (1) contest entry
● Five (5) personal photographs highlighting your favorite community places or activities
● A handwritten essay (front and back of lined paper) with a minimum of 500 words about a memorable community experience and/or explaining why you love your community.
● Each submission must be unique from any other prior submission
● Correct postage and delivery within the contest period Digital Free Entry: If the contest runs for less than one week, you may email your submission to [Your Email Here]. Your email must include:
● Your full name and email address
● A clear photo of the handwritten entry request and the envelope addressed to the Sponsor
● All required items as listed for the mail-in entry
● Each submission must be unique from any other prior submission Paid Entry: Purchasing an eligible product during the contest period qualifies you for one (1) entry per item bought. Please note: whether free or paid, all entries are treated equally. Entry spot confirmations must be submitted as directed, using numeric values and within posted timeframes. Prairie Pride Promotions may reopen and reassign unconfirmed spots based on the order of requests received via the website. Individuals must be a Prairie Pride Promotions yearly or life time Member.
Prairie Pride Promotions is not responsible or liable for any entries that are lost, late, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, or undeliverable, whether due to postal delays, technical issues, email errors, or any other reason beyond our control. All entries that cannot be verified or are not received as intended will be considered invalid.
Prairie Pride Promotions is not liable for any purchased merchandise that is lost, delayed, or damaged in the mail. When the merchandise is purchased allow 3-4 weeks for processing and delivery. Once the item has been shipped, responsibility for delivery rests solely with the carrier. If you have not received your merchandise with the alotted time frame, please contact us at admin@prairiepridepromotions.ca.
5. Maximum Entries Per Person
Each individual is allowed to submit:
● One (1) free entry per written or digital request, as outlined in the entry guidelines
● Unlimited paid entries, with one (1) entry granted for each eligible product purchased Please note: Each giveaway may have its own specific rules or limits outlined in the corresponding Contest Post. Any entry that is incomplete, misleading, falsified, or submitted after the contest deadline will be considered void. All entries become the property of Prairie Pride Promotions and will not be returned.
6. Prize Details and Value
Prize descriptions and approximate retail values will be clearly outlined in each promotional giveaway listing on the Prairie Pride Promotions website. Prizes may vary by contest and:
● May be awarded as either the actual product or a cash voucher equivalent, depending on the specific giveaway
● Cash vouchers must be redeemed within 30 days of winning and will remain at the dedicated sponsor’s location for in-person redemption
● Are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash
● May be substituted with a prize of equal value at the discretion of Prairie Pride Promotions.
● Are provided “as-is” with no additional warranties or guarantees unless purchased by the winner at the sponsors location
● Are subject to availability and may vary in actual value Each giveaway will clearly indicate whether the prize is a product or a cash voucher at the time of entry.
7. How the Winner Is Selected On the Draw Date:
Prior to the giveaway, an email will be sent to all participants containing a link to view the live or posted draw results on the Prairie Pride Promotions website, allowing everyone to follow the outcome in real time or shortly after.
● The draw will be performed using a random generator program hosted through the Prairie Pride Promotions website
● The list of entries will be randomized based on a pre-determined number of shuffles by generator
● The entry appearing first after the final shuffle will be declared the Unconfirmed Contest Winner 8. How the Winner Is Notified Prairie Pride Promotions will attempt to contact the Unconfirmed Contest Winner by ** email** within 72 hours of the draw. If the winner does not respond within that timeframe, they may be disqualified at the sole discretion of the Sponsor and an alternate winner may be selected. 9. How the Winner Confirms and Claims the Prize To be officially confirmed as the Contest Winner, the selected individual must:
● Correctly complete a 3-step mathematical skill-testing question without assistance
● Sign and return the required release and compliance form within 72 hours of being notified
● Claim their prize within 30 days, or make alternate arrangements with Prairie Pride Promotions
● All prizes must be picked up directly from the sponsor's location. Shipping is not included and will not be the responsibility of Prairie Pride Promotions. Failure to meet any of these requirements may result in disqualification, in which case the next eligible entrant will be contacted and the process will be repeated.
8. How the Winner Is Notified
Prairie Pride Promotions will attempt to contact the Unconfirmed Contest Winner by ** email** within 72 hours of the draw. If the winner does not respond within that timeframe, they may be disqualified at the sole discretion of the Sponsor and an alternate winner may be selected.
9. How the Winner Confirms and Claims the Prize
To be officially confirmed as the Contest Winner, the selected individual must:
● Correctly complete a 3-step mathematical skill-testing question without assistance
● Sign and return the required release and compliance form within 72 hours of being notified
● Claim their prize within 30 days, or make alternate arrangements with Prairie Pride Promotions
● All prizes must be picked up directly from the sponsor's location. Shipping is not included and will not be the responsibility of Prairie Pride Promotions.
10. General Terms and Conditions
Prairie Pride Promotions will not be held responsible for any issues that may arise during the Contest, including but not limited to:
● Technical errors, data loss, or problems with entry submissions
● Disqualification or delays resulting from false, incomplete, or inaccurate participant information
● Any personal or property damage related to participation in the Contest or use of the prize Prairie Pride Promotions reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to:
● Make changes to, suspend, or cancel the Contest at any time
● Adjust entry deadlines or cutoff times if necessary
● Update or revise the Contest rules to ensure fairness or comply with legal obligations Please note: This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Inc.
11. Additional Terms and Conditions
All disputes related to this Contest will be governed by the laws of the Province of Saskatchewan and all applicable Canadian laws. Any attempt to tamper with the Contest, submit fraudulent entries, or interfere with its administration may result in disqualification and could lead to legal action.
12. Termination of the Giveaway
Prairie Pride Promotions reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, suspend, or modify the Contest at any time and for any reason, including but not limited to suspected fraudulent activity, unauthorized intervention, technical failures, or any other cause beyond the Sponsor’s reasonable control that may compromise the integrity, fairness, or proper conduct of the contest.
13. Resolving Inconsistencies in the Rules
In the event of any inconsistency, discrepancy, or conflict between the provisions of these Official Rules -the terms set forth in these Official Rules shall govern and prevail. These Official Rules represent the final and binding agreement between all Contest participants and Prairie Pride Promotions concerning all aspects of the Contest.
14. Permission to Use Your Personal Information
By submitting an entry, participants expressly consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of their personal information by Prairie Pride Promotions for the purpose of administering and managing the Contest, in accordance with applicable privacy laws and the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy
